Adding modulation to a Madbean Cavedweller?

Post by colossus »

I know this has been done a ton before, but I'm not adept enough at DIY to quite figure out how...

SInce it's PT2399 based, could I just use something like the 1776 mod add on for the multiplex? (http://1776effects.com/wp-content/uploa ... on-BOM.pdf)

How would I go about adding that on?

Any other ideas?

Hi,

If you take a look at both Multiplex Echo Machine and Madbean Cavedweller schematics, you will see that the Multiplex "delay 2" knob is equivalent to the "time" control on the Madbean, as they both connect to the pin 6 (VCO PT2399) and then to ground.

so not 100% sure but if I would do it for myself.. maybe connect the "O" pad from the modulation board to lug 3 of the Madbean "time" control pot..
