Ha. I didn't think those spades were so bad. That definitely looks better though.

Yeah I love the look now. I still can't decide whether or not to put the first fret block decal on

Here's my two guitars. I have another on the way which will hopefully arrive this week. The mustang now has black pickups on it and will have black switches eventually as well.

Looks so much better! I wasn't even aware block inlay decals existed. I say yeah, throw one on the first fret as well. :thumb:

how do those fret decals feel? do you hit the edge when you bend strings?

also, what did you swap the pickups out for?

also...looks hot! i had to do a double take, because at first i thought it was some obscure vintage SG style guitar.

Sorry for crappy pics. This thing has sat in a gross old storage building for the last decade and a half. Now I'm going to clean it up, find out exactly what year/model it is, and then learn to play it. Through my bass rig. Tuned to baritone.

Thanks! It's not really noticeable to me at all. I put Gibson p94s in there. They sound killer! I love this guitar

^ I wondered why you had a photo of Stephen Colbert on your SG. Then I tilted my head and realised it wasn't Colbert…
