Re: Let's see your GUITAR!
^^^ VERY NICE setup!
Sent my '57RI LP Custom to Chicago Fret Works recently for a minor repair and neck refin, saw a nice pic posted on FB couple days ago:

It had developed a tiny split in the headstock originating from a tight tuner mounting screw and I wanted to get it resolved before anything got worse. That split will be repaired and while it's there it's gonna get a natural satin neck finish like the one I love so dearly on my Tweedy SG.
Can't wait to get it back, these guys do some of the most amazing work I've seen anywhere. Check out their 'Workbench' if you ever need a repair/refin. They have step-by-step pics of repairs, straight bringing guitars back from the dead. Includes some of the gnarliest headstock breaks I've ever seen repaired so well you can't even tell anything happened, ever! Dudes are wizards.

Anyway, end result will look similar to my SG:

Thank you! It's def unique, Antique TV Pelham (the 'TV' finish shows the grain), solid one-piece body but still weighs only 8 lbs thankfully, and a neck profile somewhere in between the fat '50's and slim '60's necks.
I then swapped all hardware to satin nickle Tonepros, silver speed knobs, and added some BKP Abraxas humbuckers with brushed nickel covers and push/push tone pots to access parallel/series switching. A versatile beast of a guitar for sure!

They're out there, just few and far between. Glad mine could be the one to change your mind.

Dropped a Lace Alumitone Humbucker (not deathbucker) into the Telemaster on Friday, it's incredibly awesome.

That guitar looks cooler every time I see it skully. It's always evolving into something better it seems.

Thanks Schnikes! This is definitely my dream for it though, fully realized. It plays incredibly and the alumitone is the perfect pickup for the neck only configuration.
ALSO, that blue is NUTS Schnikes! Ghostly, pale, beautiful. I think those knobs set it off too

Your LP Custom is one of my favorite guitars on the planet Schnikes. Too good. Too good.
And yeah Skully, big fan of that Telemaster and its ongoing evolution. What's that Alumitone sound like in there?

The Alumitone is awesome! I'm definitely more than happy/satisfied with it, I love it. Clear, articulate.
I guess I'd describe it like this: noiseless like a humbucker, chime like a single coil (using 500k pot), and ballsy like a P90.
No mud like I've noticed with other pickups that have been in the neck of this guy. It honestly sounds like a fatter bridge pickup which is awesome
