On a side note, my destroyer and algal bloom came in today and holy fuck is the destroyer loud. Really digging it. I didn't really have time to delve into the bloom but stacked with my pharaoh it was heavy af. Anyone have some settings I should try out?

So Oath into Pharaoh is awesome? I want a Ritual, and I kinda want a Destroyer, but have no real use for the Oath other than hitting the Pharaoh.

And if it wasn't already apparent, Whiskey is the motherfucking man. Dude is a true doombro and hooked me up with this after we talked about tubes to brighten up my Ampeg. I will be spending some time rolling tubes this weekend, and should definitely find a good combo in there. I'm pretty pumped on trying out the ebony pick as well.

Yeah it rules but I honestly like the ritual into the pharaoh a little better. I've been keeping the pharaoh at a lower gain and then the ritual to blow it up. If you're buying you may as well get the destroyer as it's only a little more.

Good to know that it brings the toanz. I need to stop buying shit for a bit and get better acquainted with my newer pedals since I don't have nearly as much time to play anymore.

Thanks for the compliment. I like the Mastortion - I use it as a big gnarly dirty boost for my Blackstar. Mine doesn't sound anything like Kayzer's demos though - his seems to have shit loads more gain and bass.

I'd have to imagine part of Kayzer's demo having more bass and gain is a higher wattage amp, right?

I'm sorry, but after actually reading some of the things from that search it really just comes down to preference. 6550's will have higher headroom and more low end than a 6L6 or EL34.
