Is it so wrong that the reason I haven't given System Shock 2 a try is because I always see people bitching about the enemies respawning?
Fuck it, I'll give it a shot.

Also, really want to get into Dark Souls 2, so that I don't miss out on the sense of discovery, but I'm so in Titanfall right now.

Regarding Titanfall:
I guess it depends on how much hype you heard. I didn't really keep up with the game until I got into the beta, and I freaking love it. Already put in 21 hours (not counting all the time spent with the beta.)
The first competitive shooter I've enjoyed enough to play alone since OG Modern Warfare, and one that I still have crazy fun with even when we lose.
The mobility stuff is so refreshing and adds a verticality to the game that's not really like anything else.

I'm not a huge fan of Total Biscuit but I think that this is a pretty cool video that touches upon what i've been thinking for a long time now. People take entertainment way too fucking seriously.
I really like that video. I think in Video Games people really need to develop a proper sense of critical thinking, it's amazing how much importance video gamers attach to opinions.

You move faster when sidestepping, like in Goldeneye or Perfect Dark.
I already love this.

I think that gamers can't get a balance between being a fan and being completely immersed in things they like - which can't be remotely healthy in terms of mental health. It's like people saying that there are no good Metal bands, but they only buy shit from Roadrunner Records. If you're a gamer that bitches about AAA and still continues to buy them, then it's kind of your fault. Following a Nostalgia buzz is always going to be pointless.

My thoughts on Titanfall: I can't think of a game that would interest me less than a first-person online multiplayer only shoot the dudes simulator. *shrug*

Everything isn't for everyone.

Still unsure about waiting for the pc version of DS2. I've heard some stuff about frame rate issues on ps3.

The way I see it is, on PC there will at least be fan made patches to fix what From Software was too lazy to fix

I'm too much of a wuss to play System Shock 2 right now.
Guys, is there a Blighttown of Dark Souls 2?
Fucking Blighttown...I went there the normal way ONE TIME and never again. Fuck that place forever. Only reason to go in the intended way is to get the whip. Still not as bad as the Bed of Bullshit, though.
Master Key 4 lyfe.

I don't know if last month just had a huge influx of new players, but it seems like the skill level has finally gone back up to reasonably passable. Still another 300 points to go to get my MMR back to where it was.
