In summary:

- Dude offers $130 "original circuit," a couple people get their hands on it and go apeshit
- TGP orders a million of them, price goes up
- People start flipping them, people get mad
- Other people demand gut shots, other people get mad and say no gut shots out of respect to the builder because of the weird "nice guy to me"/bro-love culture on TGP
- Other other people proclaim it's the best OD ever without having played it

Seems kind of intriguing, but it will take a while for the hype to die down.

Totally, there is way more builder transparency over here. TGP and other sites have this weird almost liberatarian view of like "well he built it, so it's his right to protect the circuit" or something, which I don't totally disagree with if it really is original. But in this day and age, secrecy/goop just makes people more suspicious. Look at what happened with the Vemuram Jan Ray ($400 gooped Japanese "magic" pedal turns out to be a Timmy with slightly different pot values). The thing with TGP is, I get real bummed on some of those people then they reveal they are 66 years old and I am basically arguing with my dad. So I take all that hype and horseshit with a grain of salt, and that way it's more entertaining than anything.

Not terribly interested in the pedal. Can't say I understand the hype, I don't think as poorly of it as some of you. It is ugly though. Mostly I just wanted to say that is the single most annoying demo I have ever seen.
