AA and DN, you are making me giggle.

A man impresses a love interest by declaring that he's 'experimenting' with drop tunings. A one act play from, the Doom Room: or how I learned to stop strumming and love the hum

"I tuned the lower string down a step from where it would normally be"
"OH MY GOD YOU ARE SO EDGY! BEAR MY CHILDREN! HOW DO YOU THINK OF THESE THINGS!"

I will be interested to hear how you like it. I've always kinda wanted one, but never knew exactly how I could use it in a 'heavy' context.

They also had a 30+ year old Silverburst LPC that aged into that incredible green-tinted color. I want both so bad.
Steal them.

I would say no, I know alot of people love their hovercrafts but after seeing gutshots really most of the changes made to the amp are aesthetic. Plus you know you want something more like a Model T, speaking of which whatever happened to that guitar center one with the shipping mishap?
Man, that whole clusterfuck still isn't through. I paid for the amp and waited a few days and still got no tracking number. When I called them up they have no idea where the amp is and that my order was cancelled. Fucking pissed didn't even describe how I feel about those dipshits. I paid for it with my paypal account since I was a few bucks short ($7 bucks and some change short cost me getting this amp) in my checking account. Turns out that Guitar Center doesn't actually charge your account until they ship whatever you buy (or so they say. I haven't talked to Paypal about this yet). Paypal went ahead and took the full amount out. The amp ended up getting bought by someone in North Carolina while my shit was cancelled by Guitar Center tards. I've been going back and forth with them for a few days trying to get my money back and have only gotten a partial refund. I have still yet to get the refund from what was directly in my Paypal account. So I'm with no Sunn still and some company has $200 of mine. This is the 3rd time I've tried to get a Sunn and all three times have been disasters. I'm cursed I imagine. Anyway, I'm hoping Ben's AD140 will ease the pain.

It has its flaws, and I'm sure a lot of people would have wanted it differently. but I didn't build it for a lot of people. just me

Damn, baby gurrl... I just boxed it up and got it ready to ship out tomorrow. :( I'd have loved to see it go to a fellow Doom Roomer. I did ask the guy for first dibs on it if he decides to sell it so maybe he won't get along with it and we can do a three way thing with it.

AxAx, that's beautiful. I love the Iommi-inspired inlays and of course the pyramid headstock design. That reminds me, did you end up finishing that 7 string project?

That SG looks killer. I dig the finish. I'm curious though, what are the three little vent hole looking thingies for?

I'm lucking out on Black Arts finds at Guitar Center.

Just got me a good deal on a Black Forest at a local GC. Just got home and plugged it in. I still don't know what all the knobs do, but here's my first impression after 5 minutes of playing through it:

Black Forest = OMG!
Black Forest + Pharaoh = ZOMGWTFBBQROXORZ!!!111

Looks like I'll be selling a couple of pedals that will be gathering dust now...

No worries man, glad you found a deal. It's no sure thing I can, I'm just hopeful. Let me know how it plays out for sure!

Maybe the Sunn 200s will be mine now...

yes, I have a bit of fret work I want to do to it before i bless of on it though. really only about half an hour of work. I'd like to make a truss rod cover for it to. I'll let you guys know when I consider it finished.

I't a semi semi hollow. I didn't want to do an F hole or anything traditional so I just made some cuts. Of course it happened to be into the very soft part of the spalted and it got a bit messed up. it fills the function though.
