Re: Let's see your GUITAR!
He drilled it and did all the fretwork for an extra charge ($40 or something?). I love it. It needed a bit more fretwork but it is such a massive neck. Feels so nice and chunky. I can see why some wouldn't like that, but I feel like a boss holding it.

haha. That's not bad though cause I know they cost a bit less than a Warmoth. Good to know for the future though!
I'm kind of on the opposite spectrum. Went with the standard thin Warmoth profile and was like DAMNIT NOW I NEED ONE FOR ALL OF MY GUITARS WHY SO GOOD.

My next neck will be a Warmoth for sure. I need a maple neck with black blocks so badlyyyyyy.

I dont know why, and I must be the ONLY guy, but I really, really can't get into blocks for whatever reason. I have no idea what it is, but I would love to see you do it up/do it right! Maybe it's because I haven't seen it done very well in the past

Block inlays look too busy on everything but a Les Paul Custom IMO. Also only like em paired with an ebony board. All my other guitars rock the dots.

I can't stand blocks on rosewood, but there's just something about super white maple and black blocks that does it for me.

Yeah, that does look cool on certain guitars. Overlooked the black block on maple combo.

Like this:

My plan is to do an ebony stained JM, black anodized PG, with mable/black block neck.

hat Jag is HOT HOT HOT. I was over at a buddy's the other day, and he has one of these late 90's Les Paul Special / Junior Lites :

I can't stop thinking about the mini-trapezoid inlays! Love how they look. Great playing guitar too.

Oh yeah, Trapezoid inlays are the shit. They don't work for everything but they can be classy on the right instrument.

I like the proportions of those mini-traps much more than I usually like full size trapezoids.

futuresailors old JM.
Showed it some love with a set of new Pickup Wizards (CBS-style), Staytrem bridge, Spitfire tort, fancy NOS witch hats and a set of flats.
It's a keeper!
