It was an unexpected turn in conversation.
Left me with some difficult-to-shake mental imagery.

its the 100w version of the TH30 i tried...i did like it...the shape knob on the dirty channel is really responsive and very wide sweep, but has a good sweet spot at about 11:30. Also, the clean is extremely nice...and i mean extremely nice. The only issue for me was the EL84's and it didn't have the bottom end or thickness i was looking for. The 100w could be different though as it as EL34's which could be much nicer.

Shit - I was thinking that the TH100 had el84s as well. Disregard most of what I said conky. I was figuring it wouldn't have the low end or bigness that you would want.

Damn....now I kinda want to try one out. And an OR100. Anyone want to buy a slightly used kidney?

Yeah i thought they were EL84's too, but they stopped doing that...the current range (I checked on Orange website to confirm) come with EL34's.

i maybe wrong...but i think the TH100 probably replaced the Thunderverb 100 they use to make...but because its made in China, its a lot cheaper.

I've found them on eBay for a grand so it would be in my budget but I just don't know how it would sound. The clips I heard online are a little too bright for my taste but that could be because my phone speakers suck.

It turns out that the neck on that Orville is twisted towards the low strings. This means I can't put anything lower than 10's on the thing, and it's sitting in C. I CAN'T FEEL THE STRINGS.

It seems as though the guitar has been sitting about for a long time without being played. Tech couldn't do much with the truss, but he's hoping for more results in the future. So fucking frustrating though, right?
