Apparently I can't play through modulation without it sounding like butt.
Pretty sure I hate anything tremolo-like at this point and with phasers it's either too over-the-top woooooooOOOEEEEEEOOOOOOOoowwwwwwwww or just mediocre.
Seems like the only place I like the movement is before fuzz, but even then most of the settings aren't all that...

i'm so tired in my soul and heart. today i had a little breather from the constant anxiety that's always gnawing at me, and rather than relief all i feel is exhaustion. i've been through so much in the last three years that i don't believe that i've survived. and i'm still terrified by every possible thing that could go wrong...every time my truck makes a funny noise i'm afraid it's going to die and i won't be able to fix it. i just want to be able to live like a normal human being. i hope and pray that the job i'm starting on Monday can be a new start for me. and that it's not too late for me to start again.

Yeah, I really dislike Kim's vocals as well. Almost as much as I dislike Lee's.
But I do think she sounds kinda sexy on "Halloween."

Thurston Moore was narrating some strange doco on abc2 the other night...oh yeah, that "Hard Time" series. I was kinda surprised to see his name pop up in the credits. Those dudes are intense. Fuck prison.

Anywayz my confession was that I'm now either so sleep deprived/stressed/bored or depressed with my own existence I am seriously starting to doubt my reality. I know its all a bit existential and incredibly self centered, but I can't shake the feeling that there's more than a little unsubtle irony in the fact that one of my favorite bands is Sleep, and its also the commodity I crave most and am not getting enough of, to the point where I'm centering my happiness around it. Also interesting to note is that they are finally touring my country, but not my town, and I have to leave my children to obtain the slaughter of these white whale (on both literal and figurative levels).
Also strange is that I keep draw parrellels between my life and Moby Dick. Although I don't think I'm Ishmael. I wish I had the balls to be Starbuck, or the brute manliness of Quequeg, but I think I'm just whale fodder.

Ok, so I'm not insane.....

Edit: cause I forgot to mention I feel like a character in a really shit show/movie that has become self aware or conscious of the fourth wall. I mean, its just lame when that happens, its lazy writing.

Also, a capella music makes me want to kill people. It pisses me off to an unreasonable extent, I actually get angry hearing it.
Although the music itself tends to be terrible in the same way that white guys with acoustic guitars covering gangsta rap is its own type of terrible, it's more than the music that bothers me.
