You should open up my Joyo and compare and contrast some of the component values in that with the original and the Fuzzrocious. The bass and volume output on that pedal are NUTS compared to my actual OCD.chillerthanmost wrote: I saw that. Thanks! I'm gonna keep an eye out for one the next few days and if nothing work out something for a build.

Re: The Doom Room: ILF Edition
I should. The Fuzzrocious has massive caps. I think that's about the only way it differs from the v3 OCD. It's got a lame volume cut though. I don't remember your OCD nor your Joyo having to be cranked just to get up near unity volume, right? I think there's something bugging with it but Ry says it's normal. Beats me. All I know is it sounded good through my SVT.Corey Y wrote:You should open up my Joyo and compare and contrast some of the component values in that with the original and the Fuzzrocious. Re: The Doom Room: ILF Edition
Most of the time with the Joyo I have to keep the volume under halfway to keep it at unity gain. It varies a bit between basses and amps, but I've never had to turn it up anywhere close to full.chillerthanmost wrote:I should. The Fuzzrocious has massive caps. The Joyo is surprisingly good for a cheap clone. I gave one to my buddy that I bought of ILF a few months back. He fucking loves it.

Based on demos, the Joyo Ultimate Octave sounds nothing like the Fulltone version. How similar are the circuits, if at all?
Also, I discovered this eerie fine arts video that covers several movements. The music is pretty cool, and after a few minutes, shit really gets crazy. Maybe somebody here will appreciate it?

I am constantly blown away by the level of artistic craft both here and in the larger ILF community. the "lets see your art" thread is amazing.whiskey_face wrote:listening to indian again

That Explorer is fucking sex! Do want.
I'll be selling my Superbass Revelation and possibly my one off Ritual soon. If you guys are looking for one I'll give you first dibs and a DR Bro hookup. I'd like to keep it, but I've got something coming in that will cover the same ground so I can't really justify keeping them.

The Sunn? Was about £400 I think. Bit on the expensive side, but I'll probably never even see one again
