They are sweet sounding amps for sure. The vibrato in the 1457 model is sooooooo nice. I've never thought about boxing them up, they sound so nice and punchy already.
what i have at my apartment at the moment. marshall JCM 900 (1990) mkiii 2500 series. 50w high output. I have a carvin 2x12 in my iso room (not in pic) 1974 fender twin reverb
at my rehearsal space i've got a marshall 1960 series b 4x12 that i gig with.
Also my in-laws rule for getting me the Micro Terror for an early Christmas present

It rules! Takes pedals like a king, can be loud or quiet, and the only type of break up you get is if you really really crank it. It's also got a recording output!
