Bardo Pond.

Post by D.o.S. »

So, I did a search, and the last time anyone talked about Bardo Pond here... it was me.

This is not all right.

Bardo Pond rips. You should check them out. They also allegedly came out with a record this year, although I haven't heard it yet.

Selections I-IV is also a fantastic collection, but Missing Selections might be even better.

I'll join in, they are great. This is a cover of the creator has a master plan by Pharoah Sanders.

Bardo is awesome. I was a little worried this thread was going to be something like, "Wow, just found out about this band."
That would have made me sad, lol.

I always skipped over Bardo Pond 'cause I was sure that they were a trip-hop group so I'd listen to 'em later.
Welp.

Count me amongst the Bardo Pond fans here as well. Although I sadly only own two or three of their albums, and nothing recent. Much like hazelwould I just never think to listen to them, but anytime I do it's like, holy shit this is awesome.

I really like their cover of Cry Baby Cry.

I own all their albums but for some reason I rarely ever play them. Too much flute I think....
