Here's the only amp I have now. It's an old Univox that used to be my dad's.
I found it after it had been in a garage for like 30 or so years, along with a (non-working) Moog Prodigy.

I absolutely love it. It has a lot of character. Crackles a bunch, the reverb doesn't work, and as you can see, it's missing a few knobs (my dad put rubber over the pot stems):

well I'm using the musicman as a bass head anyway, but...yeah, I dunno. The Beta Lead has its own very distinctive sound that not many other amps really do. My acoustic heads come close but the beta's it's whole own cosmic thing.

It really doesn't sound like anything else I've ever tried. but, it totally sounds like The Melvins.

Definitely agree with that it has its own thing going on...
I had one for a bit and it ruled hard.
