Whammy 5 or Ring Thing - which tracks better?

Post by fuzzu »

In your experiences, which of these pedals has the best tracking? There seems to be a lot of "this one is better" talk, but little evidence to back it up. Anyone tried both and found one to have superior tracking capabilities over the other?

Same question, but for bass.

Still the Pitchfactor? Okay.

Just to break up the pitchfactor lovefest a little bit: If you're going to be playing chords other than power chords or major triads, I found personally that the Pitchfactor can get a little warbly on some modes. If you care about polyphony with complex chords, the Whammy DT is the best I've ever heard.

I always liked my Micro POG. Think its tracking is brilliant. However, it won't do the whole whammy thing though..
