Re: the great show your rig thread
Dude, if you were ever in KY instead of NY I would totally let you try 'em both out.
I still mess with the Sea Machine settings all the time. Could actually get a lot of use out of two of them. One set for slow chorus, another for fast vibrato. Sounds so huge with the OC-2 and a healthy dose of dimension.

Apartment recording rig, just tilt your head to the left, my phone is so rad. Strat into pedal baord into Kustom III into a Fender 1x12 (no grill) recorded by a AKG D1200 E and a Studio Projects B1 into a Komplete 6 interface into Logic then out of Logic into Sure 440 headphones.

Re: the great show your rig thread
I've got a vintage silvertone baritone that's been my reference. The fender is really nicely put together, beautiful finish and the neck is nice and chunky as I like them. It was really easy to set up with out any surprises, i like these strings through the body designs. The stock pups are not bad and what you would expect. The neck pup is rather buttery smooth with good dimensionality, the middle similar dimensionality with more midrange. The humbucker is brighter but still not tele-brite, and there's no tele-twang. Its a muted affair, which i guess makes sense. Also i think that when the hb is combined with the other pups the overall output is higher. Has a five way switch, where the middle position is all three pups on. I'll probably swap pups down the road, but its not a priority as it sounds pretty nice as is...plus i'm not sure what I would want to do, and i'm not sure if i want to keep the hb...or add a coil tap or i don't know....doesn't matter.BitchPudding wrote: Tell me more about that baritone tele. It sounds fine through my 5 watt vibro champ, on up to my ampeg svt. better through the svt
Hope something in there made sense.
