Because these things actually have a pretty individual look and layout, Henretta excused, I reckon they'll be 30 bucks or so* dearer than the normal ones. Has to be some differentiation or they'll cannibalise their own market.

If they sound good, I'd pop. Awesome to consolidate board space since I like larger pedals.

I like compression so rarely that a tiny little comp seems attractive to me.

I would have to hear a demo of the reverb. If it's just the same settings as the Shimverb without the shimmer, I'll pass.

I have the normal Tremolo and it sounds good. A/b'ed it with The demeter (it is based on that one) and it Lacks a bit of The fatness. Only downside is no Volume adjustment - it is a but too low for my taste.

Those are indeed a bit larger than my little no-knobbers, which, along with the mini surface mount components and board mounted jacks, is why they can fit external controls.

We're both going for the "small is better for this particular sound" market, but we're hitting it in different ways aesthetically and in build quality.

I dig what Mooer does.

So, does that mean you're not gonna sue 'em, Kevin?

I appreciate the support. The truth is that a little guy like me going after a bigger company with deeper pockets = giving a bunch of money I don't have to lawyers for little to nothing in return. And their aesthetic is different enough from mine to justify proper differentiation in the market. Trademark laws are designed to protect consumers from confusion, NOT to allow companies to prevent other companies from doing something similar (that's what patents are for, and none of these things are patentable because they don't involve a true "invention" so to speak). When you see one of their pedals, it's pretty obviously a Mooer compared to my more utilitarian, solid-colored, smaller cubes.

In reality, when a bigger company spends money to engage in a proper marketing campaign to showcase this idea of "smaller can be better," it benefits smaller operations like mine. They pay to shift the mindset, and I sell product without spending a dime on marketing. My sales have been steadily climbing. No complaints here. Advertise on, Mooer!
