Fernandes LE-X. Finally got the trem arm into the block, which wasn't working when I bought it. Forced it in. Cheap ass rinky dinky thin zinc alloy block. Trem works pretty decent, though, and it sounds better with the float then it did tightened flat against the body.

Bending strings the normal way is actually a lot easier because there's nothing under the string for your finger to catch on. You can bend em farther and faster.
I like pressing into the scalloped sections more though because you can do it super fast, like BOWAWAWAWAWAWAWAWA, no problem. The strings aren't so loose that they get all bendy just from fretting stuff, so I guess I could have just gone ahead and done the entire neck but I like the way it looks. It's also cool how you can bend each string in a chord independently so it sounds all gazey.
I don't actually know the theory or "feel" to Vietnamese guitar playing, so I'm not really making the most of it yet; right now it's more like really shitty noisy playing but with more bends and springy noises.
I tuned my SGV to all fifths though and it's so good that this super bendy guitar has taken a backseat to it for now

Dunno if I'll be going back to standard for a while.
I have a SUPER GOOD IDEA that I've been drawing up, just need like $100 total and more research time, I really think this next one's gonna be awesome.
