Great setup. Really like it. Also your sounds.
So for recording you switch the loopers with the ABY? The loopers are then connected to the pan pedal for blending? Do you use the Ernie Ball EB6167 for this?

Dub, what do use the EQ pedals for? Loop manipulation? On the fly mixing? Something else?

Woooooow that rules dub!!
So many possibilities.
Here's what I put together for bass last night. Thanks to Timm Grimm and julius_deane for filling in the missing pieces!

Thanks dude. It's actually a ParaEQ I built up off a 1776 Effects board. I'm still wiring up the XLR output for DI though, I gotta get a transformer

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
neat, what does the transformer do in this context... impedance matching?

that's exactly backwards. i use the pan pedal to sweep between the two loop inputs and the ABY sums the signal to mono for output. the pedal is a 6165, which is the 500k version; the 6167 wouldn't work due to the impedance.
kbithecrowing wrote:Dub, what do use the EQ pedals for? Loop manipulation? On the fly mixing? Something else?
loop manipulation, though they could also work as general EQs as long as i have that side of the loop path running, sometimes loops get hissy and i can dial that out, and with the Slicer and EQ i should be able to get some drum sounds. in fact, i could have different settings on each EQ and pan between them

thanks for your comments, folks. makes me feel all warm and, er, fuzzy.

Interesting. Do you use the delay pedal mainly for looping or delay?

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
mostly for looping, though i'm working on using them more as delays. i generally use the RV-3 on the main board for delay; it's easier to manage the delay on the main board than to walk to the loop board, and i'm accustomed to the RV-3 because the main board and a volume pedal is all i take when i go out. i want to start using the delays for faux tape-loop stuff that degrades over time so the old repeats end up as a wash of indistinct sound in the background with the new notes suspended over it.
