Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
just finished this up
waiting on an 8 inch stereo cable from amazon to connect my RC3 and the aux switch
It's just plywood from megaboard that I cut down to fit the spot under the bench in my office
this is small for me but with all the different sounds it doesn't feel small
one thing i think is stupid on the M5 is that some of the heavier drive sounds don't have a gate available
that has to be possible- other than that it has eliminated about 5 pedals from my old board
I think this gets me every sound I need
fits the space I have for a large board and is way more portable than megaboard
Ordered a keyboard bag from amazon that it will travel in if needed
order for those interested
Tone Repaer, dirge Comp, 4545, groove Regulator, Blunderbuss, PS6, Tap Trem, RV5, Monarch, EchoBox, Volume, Supernatural, PitchFactor, M5, Time Bender, Slicer, RC3
Monarch is running at 18 volts
The White switch is for the pitch Factor
The knob on the m5 is a T1M expression knob which allows for some awesome sounds and even shifts the entire eq and gain spectrum of a few distortions
I wanted the blunderbuss post PS6 but it was not responding well to the buffers ahead of it

Loop gate sounds like a cool pedal to give dirt a clean blend or to blend two types of dirt, I almost had your setup traced out because of those sweet colored cables, but thanks for the explanation, loving the board
question, do you run a buffer somewhere on it?
The colored cables help to trace the signal flow while checking out setups. I will replace them with lava cables as soon as I'm satisfied with the pedal order. I think I'm getting closer...
You can't blend with the Loop Gate. It only offers a square wave for the alternation between "dry" signal and loop. Several wave forms, intensity or tap tempo would be killer.
The Loop Gate has a switchable buffer. I still don't get the physics of buffers. So I don't know if it acts only on the loop or the whole setup. Do you? In the end the dirt pedals seem not to be harmed in their function. At the moment this is a bedroom board. So I don't care too much about signal loss. Could be that I need to think about a quality buffer if I get to play in a band.
Edit: The Quantum Leap can also switch between true bypass and buffer for trailed delays. I actually don't know how it is setup at the moment

You have an impressive board!

Thanks man
If the qantum leap has a buffer it is probably a good one.
I imagine the loop gate buffer works on the unaffected signal too. That just makes sense to me
Really like your setup. Para eq. Is a flipping awesome tone shaper

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
Yep. The QL buffer should be high quality. I guess the Loop Gate buffer is also a good one. One would be enough anyway.
I used to have an MXR 10 band EQ. The world is so much better with a parametric EQ...

yeah I had a KFK and then switched to the empress, now its just a few presets in the M5 when I need some EQ

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
Here is my Pedal Board. I'm too cheap to buy a store bought one so I made this one out of Old Bed Slats and some Wood Screws. My Effects are: Phase 90, Boss CE2 Chorus, Homemade Boost Pedal, Homemade Fuzz, A Dano Chili Dog Octave, A Cry Baby and a Homemade Loop Switcher made out of a Ford Valve Cover.

Bass pedalboard v2-ish
First board that hasn't changed in a long, long time. Just perfect for my current needs.
Also doubles for my guitar board, but I usually like a couple more pedals. Would love another Nano for dedicated utility pedals (looper, tuner, splitter).

Yep! It controls the mix, very useful for bass. I usually don't like clean blends but the Elements sounds pretty good with it. Not that it lacks bass by any means.

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
As of last band practice.
Goes, Bass -> LS-2 set on A-B Mix
Loop A -> Para Driver, used for clean to and to keep lows when the dirt is kicked on.
Loop B -> Brassmaster -> Guv'nor -> Whammy -> PD-7 (Used on Clean) -> Tri-AC -> Delay.
Then the LS-2 goes out to the DI.
The Chorus is just there. It never gets used, hopefully that will change soon if I get another one.
