It's just a Fixd Fuzz Deluxe/ Wooly Mammoth mashup I'm afraid. No super-modding here.

Still, I think it looks pretty fucking cool. It's a birthday present for a very talented blues/ folk guitarist friend of mine who is (tragically) a fuzz virgin. I wanna make sure he starts out on the right foot getting his fuzz on

Clone of the wonderful Spaceman Effects Gemini III Dual Fuzz Generator... with a twist. I'm using Russian transistors on the Ge side. One of the greatest fuzz pedals ever conceived. Covers a big chunk of sonic ground as far as fuzz is concerned.

Of course, can't forget cousin Lewdvig. Clone of the Ludwig Phase II. I do have a vero layout for it, but this was built using the first run of PCB's we had done. Nice and neat, and works like the original. Without the help of The Master, R.G. Keen, keppy, UKToecutter, and pinkjimiphoton, this wouldn't have seen the light of day.

Finally, an amalgamation of two "Hen's Teeth", the Colorsound Vocalizer, and the EH Talking Pedal. I wasn't crazy about the fuzz of the Vocalizer, and the Talking pedal's unobtanium pedal dual gang pot was another obstacle. The front end fuzz of the Talking Pedal was nice though, and the filtering of the Vocalizer was cool as well. So, I melded the two together, to create the Talk-a-lizer.

I disagree whole-heartedly, but thanks. I just don't believe that these fantastic effects should be sitting on rich peoples coffee tables, when the working, passionate, or less fortunate musician could have one as well.

Just in case the moderators are worried about the Infinitphase breaking the forum rules, don't fret. Mike is cool with it, and even helped me out with it. As long as you're not building to sell, or publishing any of their docs, they're cool. A real class act, all the way. The schematic and manual for the Infinitphase is available at Prophecysound. I didn't build it because I can't afford one... I built it purely as a test of my vero and building skills. I just fell into a period where I got bored with building fuzz boxes. Although I must admit, I was happy to go back to the simplicity of the Superfuzz after that sucker. It took me three weeks to build up the vero layout for the Infinitphase, and by then, I was seeing stripes everywhere I looked.
