OoOoctave Pedal Time

So I've been hankering for an octave pedal. Im super enticed by the caitlanbread perseus. How does it compare to the infanem second voice or the subdecay octasynth? Great tracking isn't super important to me, because I like glitchyness almost as much as super looooows.

Also, a bit commander is on my local craigslist for 125 bucks. So i may need to swoop that up for the convenience and great price!!!

the bit commander is all sorts of intense and nasty.
the subdecay sounds fantastic, but if you want gritty octaves, the BC is perfection. it can't really be dialed back though, so if you want any clean octave stuff, i'd steer clear of it.

I noticed that the bit commander is dirty or dirtier. I'm not really sure what I would use it for besides getting super lows and rumbling worlds. Nasty fuzz is certainly welcomed. Although it might be cool to have just a clean synth tone for some primitive electronic/industrial bass line tones. I watched kayzers videos and I could see myself liking both the octasynth and the bit commander for different reasons.

You want super lows and less than perfect tracking? Get an MXR Deluxe Octave M288. It creates two signals: one a single octave below your signal and another two octaves below your signal. It's analog, so the tracking will glitch a bit if you try to feed it more than one note at a time.

This does just create clean octaves, but if you run some hard-clipping fuzz into it, it'll get pretty synths very quick.

From my side... FoxRox Octron is doing everything I want from an octave pedal.
But I don't think the Octron is what you're looking for.

You can also get some really fun sounds depending on where in the chain the Organizer sits. If you're looking for 2 octave down it's probably not for you, but I love octave down full, dry full, octave up at 2 o'clock. It adds so much to playing, especially solo.

I did have a lot of fun when I was playing your organizer. I was scared it would be too "organy", but it tracked wonderfully and sounded so full and rich on clean notes. The bit commander was sold, but that's okay because I would prefer to be able to pair it with the fuzz of my choice. I wish I got to try the organizer on guitar though because that's what I would be mostly looking for. I don't care for octave up but I certainly would want the options for two octaves down. I'm not sure what I would really use it for beside sonic experimentation and house shaking lows, maybe some usage on lead lines and making synth dark basslines to pair with a drum machine.

I don't think the bluebox is what I'm looking for but i heard it gets freaking wild so maybe. Chankgeez is going to let me try out the octasynth and Perseus which is freaking awesome. Now I need to check out the seppuku. I haven't heard any one mention the infanem second voice.

Also I'm curious how an octave will sound on my baritone. I'm curious of the noises that occur from playing chords as well. Anything that sounds particularly excellent when it glitches out but still sounds massive when it can track?
