I've been drawing more and more lately because I have a lot of down time at work and such, and I've noticed that a lot of the things I'm drawing are aesthetically similar to a crucifix and/or towers, even thought they're usually just abstract lines and dots. The form just seems powerful or majestic or something, but I'm not sure why I'm doing it so often. I wonder if things are coming out this way because it suits a bold black pen on whte paper, or if I'm subconsiously expressing something about power/religion. Hmm. Maybe its a fluke. Iunno.

It's really hard to ask the girl I had a (as I thought) good date with last week why she's completely ignored me since.

Fuck, the message has been sent, and I regret it immediately.

I hate that feeling dude. I guess just try and distract yourself from the situation until you hear back from her?

Oh yeah. Yeah. I already gave up on the whole thing, so I'm just hoping I can get a Seinfeldesque victory and have her make contact last. And maybe we'll run into each other at work (we knew each other before working at the same place) and it will be terribly awkward, but that will be awesome for me actually. :omg:

I kind of look forward to a fantastically long elevator ride down from the 12th floor.

This whole, not feeling like the turd who fucked up the whole thing for the first time, is kind of great.

Actually I don't regret it. I feel like it puts her in a position where she will respond and I can easily choose not to respond, which (since I've gotten all of my dating understanding from Seinfeld reruns, leaves the last contact on her.

Also, if we run into each other at work (we knew each other before working at the same place but now work at a big place), I feel like it will be more awkward for her than me. It's a good position to be in.

Except when people bust open the door like they're a fucking DEA agent coming into a coke packaging den. Not so Zen.

i do this all the time! its the best. i found a bathroom that not many ppl use so its real quiet w/o many interruptions. sometimes even the timer lights flick off when i'm in there!
i bring my gameboy or something and just jam away and make some tunes. in fact, i'm gunna go do that right now.

This group of people on Something Awful put together and are selling a book that consists entirely of dick drawings that they spotted while deployed.
I'm trying to justify dropping $50 on a book full of poorly-drawn penis monsters.

I get really annoyed when I receive a Craigslist email that is written like a text message.
We are not familiar. Use a formal format.

How was it?
___

I confess that I'm desperate to be in a relationship (when I really don't need to be desperate; gotta work on that...)

Also semi-related, I went to a dude's house today to try out some pedals and his wife was gorgeous. Like, cute as a button and down to earth. I wanted to trade all my pedals for her love

i go back and forth between desperately wanting someone and being totally indifferent because i don't do well with humans in general and particularly with women. it especially sucks at my age...most women in my age group aren't looking for a ganga-addled, longhaired, unemployed version of Robert Fripp.
