Cross post from GAS thread, but why hide it?

FINALLY IN MY POSSESSION. Fender Mustang Bass.
I don't know if I can go back from short scale now. It feels so right. And it sounds fucking killer with fuzz.
Scored it from the local guitar shop for a great price. I think it had been sitting there for a long time. It has great action already, might not need much tweaking.

I'll probably swap the tort pickguard soon. Not a huge fan of it. Had the same scheme on my first bass and it just looks too much like an old person's bass. We'll see.

Rare bird. Vintage. Supposedly sounds hot, too, and plays nice. :idk: I've seen people pay more for a vintage Fender.

Yup.

I'm not sure I pay almost 3gs for that bass but it is still very interesting and pretty cool.

It's cool if you dig it! I was just thinking you could buy another cool bass and a bunch of pedals. Or a high end bass. That's what I would do but obviously everyone has different taste in instruments.
