My 9 pedals-board from the previous page do not feel like that many at all...
...when one is a tb loop and another is an always-on EQ that isn't technically a pedal.

Besides...afaic ILF minimalism is having only 1 fuzz circuit from each transistor type:
Germanium ('69)
Silicon (Green Russian)
Hybrid (HP-1)

NO SINGLE TOOL IS APPROPRIATE FOR EVERY JOB
EVEN WHEN THAT JOB IS AS SIMPLE AS CLIPPING SIGNAL.
[B/S/T shoutouts] Shortlist: Hollow Earth|Ct5|856|Condor|Thermae|OP-1|half track reel2reel|Prophet6 ... :whoa:

dude I only have four Si (afaik) fuzzes on my board, minimalist as FUCK.

I do like stripping it down sometimes, did a gig recently with just the Mini and a wah (didn't even take my tuner lol I'm dumb) and it kicked ass. But also it's really fun having 10+ pedals and making silly noises.

I have the urge for three boards, though not all populated at the same time. I have my current board which is a medium size. I want a 'Pro' size for home jamming, 'Junior' size for small gigs, and the medium board for professional gigs. That'll never happen but a man can dream.

Quiet Things wrote:I tend to agree, but in the case of the solo work I'm starting to put together, it's pretty minimalist. I don't NEED more because the whole point is there being less. Or something like that.

I know what you mean.

I would love to have two boards: Small grab n' go jam and band board, and Medium solo project board. But there would be way too much overlap, though, and I can't afford to buy doubles of four pedals (it'd be close to $800).

My main board is basically done, but I'd love to have a 2nd one for droning/looping/weird sounds

I like this idea a lot, but I've never been able to figure out how to break up the boards. Should each be useful on its own as well as with the other boards, or should they just be one board split up among two or three smaller boards? Hmmm... maybe I'll start a thread about this and see what everyone on here says....

Why spend money on multiples of a pedal when you can just get one Klon cause if you don't have a Klon apparently you are a loser who lives in a Focus down by the river...

That 3k Great Wall looks amazing, was that a run I missed or is that a custom order?

i kinda want to grab another Rusty Box as a backup and to keep a small board at home to play around with if i feel like leaving my big board at practice. or want to do demos and don't want to set up the big'un.

od -> TAFM -> Flashback -> Rusty Box would be enough to have noise fun time at home i think?
