Though honestly, I can't remember the threat the adipose posed. They incubated in our bodies and then rolled off, taking a bunch of fat with them... but did it kill the host? Plus they were so darned cute. Clearly, I'm gonna have to go rewatch past seasons again.

yeah they'd kill the host, essentially liquify (fatify?) them. I don't remember if that was the original way they did it or if they were modified in some way. But they were so stupidly cute doing it.
