Ugh, I finally tracked down a builder willing to replace the cord in my EB VPjr a month ago, spent $35au to get it fixed.

Already broken. Fuck, seriously? I hardly use the thing.

Ooh,
Do they do other repairs? Got a pedal that might need fixing

You don't want these guys looking at your pedals. If they can't fix a cable they shouldn't be opening amps or pedals. Probably should get into secretarial work or something.

right now, my problem is this part of our song i need to compose a solo for...

i'm not used to COMPOSING solos, but that would be the least of my problems had it been a part to which i can improvise to make the solo up... but during that part, the key changes basically 11 times, so that's a problem :D
I make pedal demos as East Stomp Boutique - http://www.youtube.com/c/eaststompboutique

This is a nice method for composing melodies I got taught by a great music teacher:

1. Write the chords out on a stave with the notes as empty circles (like an o), with a decent amount of space between them
2. Fill in the chord tone you want to play from each chord to form a basic melody
3. Add 'filler' notes between the chord tones to make the melody more interesting

Hope it helps! I find the visualisation of the chord tones really helps me, even when I KNOW what the notes I'm looking for are it's nice to be able to see it on the page.

DUDE SERIOUSLY. Like a "Hey, thanks for the interest but not really feeling it" would be so appreciative but it never happens. Ever. EVER. Fuck man. I was gonna post this earlier but forgot to. Sorry for piggybacking

Ugh I know that feel. What's even worse is when somebody responds to YOUR ad and then after a few message exchanges just decides to stop replying altogether even after expressing interest. This has happened several times for me, some people are so rude..

On another note, I lost a thumbdrive with an assignment prototype on it (no idea how or where) so now I have to work again from a much earlier file, except I can't because the design software I'm using has expired and even after I paid $60 to renew it I still havent been sent the email with the authorisation code.
