Re: The what ever thread...
I actually heard that song for the first time on the radio and they didn't say who it was. I was like, "Wuuuut, did Kool and the Gang put out a new single?"
then I heard it again seven hours later on the way home and was rocking out to it.
I only just now realized it was the new Daft Punk single I hadn't listened to earlier.

In my defense, they did sound exactly like Hella.
Did you do this while they were on stage?
Were they like a Hold Your Horse Is or No 666 kind of Hella?
It was Hold Your Horse Is to a fucking tee. Two-piece Guitar. Drums. Instrumental. Sounds like Hella.
Not while they were performing. I (allegedly) waited until we were all getting drinks. And by we were all getting drinks, I mean that as we'd picked up the drinks my drinking buddies bounced whilst I stayed for the next two bands with our other last man standing homie (who was playing the show, as it was a show on/for his birthday, and doesn't drink). So, naturally, I drank all the drinks. And, as we hung out with the-band-that-may-or-may-not-be-Hella and other assorted guests/musos/people of great taste and class, I (allegedly) asked them about it. Several times. With insinuations that they really should rip off more than one album. Allegedly.

Also, this op-ed is awesome.

If I were going to start a doom metal band, I'd probably have to call it Hodag.

that's amazing. I would have liked to have been there, to see that, and to even see them perform (& to get some free drinks

I bought the Sabertooth Tiger for hubby as a gift and he loved it. The tiger really 'comes at you' with amazing 3-D clarity! Came back here looking for a chicken or rooster and found it! This is perfect for Urban Farmers to let the world know, "We love chickens!". But, we also love goats and now we need a barnyard Goat T-shirt ~ PLEASE PLEASE MAKE A GOAT face T-shirt!!

Me thinks the use of the goats would be of a different nature then a satanic metal band would go for

For a while i thought I was starting to hate headphones for listening to music because I always felt too much high end and not enough low end, even with my nice phones. Well I did a side by side comparison of headphones and my own stereo system and WOW does that receiver sound so much better than the computer / and mp3 player. Plus the tone controls got my face vibrating. Good deal.

Based on vidja demos, I always though the Moog Minitaur was kinda cheesy and "meh". Good for 70's prog rock but other than that...
Until I heard one in person, with a good mix.
Then...awesome.

What? Demoes that only show you the basic, surface-level applications of gear? UNHEARD OF!
In IRL, single person news I've given up on one sorta-relationship (who suddenly was completely ignoring me) and am going all-in on a girl I sometimes see at work very briefly and have really only talked to twice. Honestly, if I can initiate any sort of convo this girl from now on, she is getting a one-way ticket to pound town (note she can always choose not to redeem the ticket, I ain't no raper).
and maybe a lasting relationship...but given my history it probably won't happen. I'm not saying I won't try though.
Sorry, this episode of Cheers combined with recent relationship roller-coaters have got me all weird...and whiskey has made it come out like a complete mess.
So yeah, tl;dr Girl I slept with is out of the picture, slightly nerdy girl I've only chatted with twice at work is my new primary target.
