Confession: I'm a week in to buying a nice direct drive turntable and mixer, I already want to give up on learning to scratch. I picked up drums like it was nothing. I learned to play the harmonica decently in a week. Guitar...thats a never ending process for me. But cutting and scratching is fucking irritating!

Thanks snip! That comment made me feel fuzzy inside. I usually feel unnoticed around here. And that senior members have to accept you before your post are even acknowledged. i never learned to DJ on vinyl, so i don't have and really admire the skills of people who can work the proverbial Wheels of Steel. beat-matching on CD decks with speed control was hard enough
