Do they have posters that say "Aim High at A.I.M"???
Schlatte, what about doing the Military and then making up your mind??? It'll give you some new experiences and you'll come back a different (hopefully better) person then when you went in... 6 months isn't that long but it'll be a break and give you time to grow...

we do but its because they have a high school in the lower part of the campus only for the incredibly rich kids or if your like a russian prodigy on a scholarship
Ok hmm... if you have an academic advisor see if you can participate in something called "cross institutional study". This is basically where you have your fulltime enrollment at one uni, but you are on loan to another uni to do courses that you can't do at home. Not sure what degree you are doing, but there should (could?) be some electives in your degree program that you can change out for courses at another uni. If you're doing a regular Bachelor of Music then I'd be really surprised if this isn't technically feasible. Whether they are positive to the idea is another question...

In shopping for new gear, more time than I like to admit is spent considering whether or not it's going to make my rig look more or less like a spaceship.
