They're gonna be about 150 euro, not usd, so about $200 usd. I'm super interested in the drum machine.

I saw 119 euro today. That is $155.
And Korg doesn't always price things at an equivalent price, usually this stuff is cheaper in the US, no VAT, etc.
Update:
From the official press release:
"The Volca series will be available in July 2013 for a U.S. street price of $149.99 each. Additional product information is available at Korg.com"

Welcome to the Golden Age of Electronic Music Gear.
It's pretty amazing considering when I was in high school 15-ish years ago, electronic music was cost prohibitive for me. Now we're seeing all manner of electronic kit in damn near all price ranges. Love it.

No kidding! It really bothers me when people start calling the 70's or 80's the golden era of music gear, when right now you can go pick up a jazzmaster for under $500, a great analog synth for under $600, all kinds of great tube-amp options for under $500, and there's an entire universe of amazing effects under $100! As far as music creation goes there has never been a better time to be a musician.
I feel like these new groove-boxes are like Pokemon. GOTTA CATCH 'EM ALL.

Re: New Korg Analog Grooveboxes!!!!!?????
i wonder if they're rackable. there was that series of Alesis multi efx processors with Stoopid Hip Names on them that were about 1/3 kf a rack space wide each. and there was a shell you could buy to fit them and they had point to point connectors so you could plug them straight in to each other.
it was a neat idea, but the only one worth a damn was the one with crusher. the Bitrman maybe?
