random bitching:

why does all the equipment i still find interesting cost, like, $350?

why do they have to play "Strawberry Fields Forever" every time they demonstrate a faux-Leslie setting on a chorus?

and WHY do they have to insert extraneous "bonus" tracks into the middle of the running order of classic albums, particularly when they're mixed totally differently and utterly ruin the balance and flow of the original record? GRRRRRRRR.

That's inhuman. Who the hell would do that?

it was a fashion around the turn of the millennium for CD reissues...a bunch of the remixed/mastered CSNY-related catalog had this--my original impetus here was that great heaping turd of a self-indulgent "oh-i'm-a-sad-old-rock-star" David Crosby ballad, complete with Vegas-cheese Doerge piano intro] IN A JEEP, ("King Of The Mountain") they stuck into side 1 of Crosby/Nash live--as did T-Bone Burnette's self-titled record on Paramount and Leo Kottke's seminal Six and Twelve-String Guitar.

I picked up what I thought was strong beer, and it turns out to be a strong beer-wine or some shit. 10.5% abv and it tastes like a punch in the teeth with fruit at first, but leaves my mouth feeling very nice.

I'm on, like, glass two, and I'm pretty alright.

That's it.

Also, getting bulk parts so i can make these guitars is turning out to be a fucking bitch. It's almost impossible to go manufacturer direct because of the fucking specific assemblies of most of these damn things. It shouldn't be costing me this damn much to build a guitar prototype. I mean, as long as the prototype doesn't come out to more than what the ideal sale price would be. I just want to keep the final build under $800 retail, but if I can't make the goal of 100% profit, I don't know how viable of a business it'll end up being.
And I don't know if I want to put out an instrument that's full of cheap parts. :\

The friend who sent me a pizza yesterday got broken up with tonight. They'd been together for over a year, which is a big deal for him. I wish I could help, because he's been such an incredible friend.

:(

If he wants to talk, you should listen. And if he doesn't want to talk, just give him some space. Everybody needs space.

For sure. I know he wants to talk, he told me the whole thing himself and is sort of IMing me on/off about it.

I am reaching whole new levels of tiredness. Being so tired makes me whiny and I just wish there was someone to cuddle me in bed, tell me everything is alright and stand my weak and sappy self.

my lack of giving a fuck about the conditions of my life has achieved the level that i'm writing odd and eccentric messages to women on Craigslist to see if i can complicate my life any more.

I have fucking issues with doing these little stupid things for myself

like having a cigarette late in the evening
opening the bottle of 10 y.o. Bushmills single malt and having a taste
buying something cool to wear
or buying myself a cool pedal i don't necessarily NEED

i just feel like I SHOULDN'T DO these things

maybe I shouldn't, i mean... you and I can both find a reason why not to... the problem is I can't find a reason why to do it :( it all seems... unnecessary, redundant and maybe not deserved
I make pedal demos as East Stomp Boutique - http://www.youtube.com/c/eaststompboutique
