Missing close connections and feeling sad about it. Hopefully this doesn't have me acting weird when I hang out with that interesting woman on Friday. I'm dumb.

MOTHERFUCKER

the modulation miniswitch on my Faux Tape Echo broke. Now when it moves, it does something to the circuit and sets the time for minimum with no reaction to turning the Delay knob... it works only in certain positions

I HAVE A SHOW TO PLAY TONIGHT

i wrote to Wampler asking for the switch dimensions and value so i can buy and install a new one. I bought it used from Kayzer, so i have no warranty and i don'T feel like sending the pedal cross-atlantic for repair, especially when i need to play shows

Someone convince me not to sell most of my guitars and basses. I'm moving to another country at the end of the Summer, and having to get a new apartment in the meantime - and pay the first, last, and security up front - has set me behind schedule in my savings.

Idk. I really need the money. I'm already selling a bunch of pedals, and I'm considering selling my record collection also.

You're moving overseas. It's not like you're gonna take your stuff with you. If you don't sell the stuff, what're you gonna do with it?

I don't know. The thing is I'll be in all likelihood moving back here in 1-2 years, so... I don't know.

1-2 years is a long time. If you don't have any great emotional attachments to the instruments, sell 'em. You can always (hopefully) find something similar later. It'd be impractical to take more than one instrument with you, especially since you don't know what you're going to do with the ones you can't bring with you.

So get this. I ordered two snare stands from Interstate Music two weeks ago and never heard about them shipping. I just called and not only were the stands I ordered not in stock when I ordered them (despite displaying the stock quantity), they are also discontinued. So they were just never going to tell me that there was no way to fill my order.
