But to answer the question back when I listened to them I liked kill em all through justice more than pantera but I still listen to CFH from time to time and its been a real long time since I listened to Metallica :idk:

I guess what I'm saying is Iron Maiden!!!

Excited that you mentioned this band. "The Sleeping Eye" is an incredible album.

IRON AGE.

When I was 13 McTallicA was like awesome and stuff. Then I you know got into more interesting music. Pantera... same... but for whatever reason I can still listen to pantera [to a point] where I just don't cringe...

I attribute this to the Reznor production and the fact they all hated each other by then.

That makes so much sense! The album just sounds gross, exhausted, and filthy. I'm not a huge fan of Pantera, but I am a pretty big fan of that album.

I've always really loved how Vulgar Display gets heavier and heavier the more you turn it up--It's quite quaint if listened to quietly.

Not that one should never listen to that record quietly, of course.

Seriously. Everything I like about Metallica without everything I hate about Lars and some good synths thrown in.

So I get a back lashing when she was talking shit on everyone who enjoys these bands. That makes sense.

no one has mentioned pre-phil pantera. if this doesn't count, neither does post and justice for all. black album=jumped the shark. for whom the bell tolls is the best riff ever. this makes ac/dc's hells bells the most consistently dissapointing song ever.
