I had to buy the smallest set of tuners I could find, which were mini Ping tuners. And it was a super pain in the ass to get them to fit. But they work, so hey

Love that guitar. When I saw he posted in this thread, I was hoping it was that one. I think he had a build thread about it a while back.

Just searched. It wasn't a separate build thread, it was in this thread and I realized I didn't answer your question. It's a custom build.

Re: Let's see your GUITAR!
It is a paramour by Paul Rhoney the first one ever made. Of two I think, don't think it was a very popular model
Originally it had roller wheels where the mustang switches are to control the volume of each pickup and one out for each pickup. It was cool but didn't suit the way I play. Now it's just like a mustang but with wide range hum buckets instead of single coils. The tone pot is hidden down where one of the old jacks used to be cause I never change it as I play. It's so good now wide range humbuckers are so good

That guitar is so badass, remember watching that one get built here.

Is it wired like the Pawn Shop Mustang Special with the 3-way sliders on each pickup to go between split (inner coil)/series (HB mode)/split (outer coil)? Or you go with 2-way sliders instead??
I loved the wiring on my old Mustang Special much I'm using and exact replica in my EGC that's currently being built. Possibly the most versatile switching I've ever seen on any guitar.

Re: Let's see your GUITAR!
It's just the conventional mustang switching. The problem is that wide range humbuckers aren't actually humbuckers but a weird signal coil so there's only two wires coming off them so you can't actually coil split them or do any of the cool stuff that's in the mustang special otherwise I most definitely would have done it that way. The pickups are really nice and varied though so I'm happy with the sounds. They are both 3 way sliders with the weird mustang switch configuration where the out of phase is relative to where the other switch is. Always loved that for some reason...

Paul Rhoney! thats cool. I was working out the details of getting a leftyBass VI made by him a year or so ago, then got laid off from my job.
Awesome guy for sure! Makes incredible stuff.
