I miss all of you guys.

I used to PM like five of you daily and it's been more like once a week. Sleep deprivation. So Corinne, Owen, and Reece skipped their 2am feeds last night. They did a'ight. Corinne woke up the most, kinda odd since she has been trouble waking up for the 2am of late. Figured she'd sleep right through it. Ah well. We figured a few would wake up and only four times between three babies isn't bad. Miles and Tessa don't weigh enough to make the switch. Should be only a couple of weeks, though. They used to all be in the same room (converted dining room). The three skipping the feed moved into one of their bedrooms. Once they're all skipping that feed and not waking up, my sleep is back to normal.

I've been opening up my own private practice doing counseling, too. Doing 36 hours at my usual job in the meantime. It was moving slow for a while, averaging about 6 hours a week, but it's quickly blown up to close to 20. 55+ hours a week on top of everything is....it's been crazy. I've been looking into ways to move to part time at my usual job. Most counselors do a little here and a little there. Not sure if they'll ever do a part time thing, though. I kinda love the usual place. It's a nonprofit organization. Good mission. Good people. And we make a difference for a lot of under priveleged mentally ill. Wish I could do 24 hours private practice and 16 there. But man......tough decision....either I finagle a part time position that isn't there.....I quit there and try to survive on 16 to 20 hours of private practice.......or I look for another part time job while I continue these hours.......

Keeping my eyes open for a better solution. I know. I know. First world problems.

The band situation is what pisses me off. Through all of this I'm in two bands that NEVER practice because EVERYONE ELSE is too busy. Not me. I'm the one trying to get things together. I want to jam. Fuck I want to jam. But the others tell me they're too busy.

I kid I kid. I just might do that. Fuck. I'm a bit of a tough sell, though. "Hey man. Let's start a band. I want it to be original. Fucking experimental but not prog or without direction. A set thing where I know a week in advance of practice. Be a guitar player and not a flake (the dealbreaker). Oh. And I can never tour or play in far away venues." Lol.


Might just hole myself up for 5 to 7 years and start writing the material that I'm going to force my little family band to play.

Yeah, you can make your own band. Literally.

If they all get interested in the same thing, like music, I think they'd be great at it. Having siblings your own age to play and compete with is powerful. You've really got something there.

I think they'll be well connected within whatever community they're a part of (school, etc), because each kid will have their own group of friends, but will also know all their siblings' groups of friends, too, forming a social nexus, at the top of which resides you, demigod from whose loins hath sprung such power.

I've been having the same problem but it's mainly one dude, the drummer, who's house it's at. Generally there's been almost no notice to know where we aren't even asking... Sucks ass.

Updating my 'buy a cab' drama; for various reasons (a lot of them involving being tired of waiting for the 12's owner to make up his friggin' mind), I'm going with the 15. This will be the first'est 15 I've ever had...whole new horizons opening up. Or, the universe ending 'cause I'm mixing cab sizes. One or the other.

Just put in an order for a Pedal Power 4x4. I've been putting two SA pedals on one outlet of the PP Digital and using a combination of either Y cables or daisy chains for the others. Started encountering some noise issues and now its time to pull out the big guns. Thought about a Cioks, but the extra expense didn't seem necessary as it didn't offer me any more useful options.
