I have a serious question. A lot of people on this forum seem to like Kramer basses and guitars. Am I the only one out there that think they are the most hideous looking things ever? I mean, they may sound good, but damn they are ugly.

Depends on the model...I've seen some of their upper-end basses that were OK, assuming that you like the Alembic'esque stylings; I've seen others that I wold not own, based solely on appearance. The Y-shaped headstock I could take or leave, depending on the rest of the instrument.

They fall into that realm where I'm not offended by how they look, but I don't fall over myself drooling at them either.

I feel the same way. Like as long as it played really good, I could get over it.
But there's no GAS in my system for one.

I don't either. I'm a Star Wars fan and my girlfriend doesn't get that either. I'm much cooler then she is though.
Kramers have never done anything for me either way.

They made a flying V bass so your opinion is moot

What's the weight like with the PT-Pro Mono Case loaded? I'm stupid tired of hauling the hard case.

Hey! Let's talk about serious thing. We're gonna talk about guitar, dude.

Ugh, the hard case is the main reason I just downsized my board.
My biggest concern is that I have a tendency to lay my guitar on top of my board when loading up my trunk (as that's the only way to fit everything) and I really don't want to be smashing knobbys on the Mono. :/

Just finished Battlestar Galactica. Pretty awesome. Dug the way it all got wrapped up. Was watching like three hours of it daily for the past few weeks and now I feel like something's missing. Need another good series to get into. Has to be on Netflix or Hulu Plus, though. Tried Doctor Who but the first episode was ATROCIOUS. Just awful. Does it get better? And I've always been into the old school anime classics (Akira, GITS, Ninja Scroll, Fist of the North Star).....but haven't seen anything since 2001. Any of those on Netflix or Hulu Plus I should be checking out? Once you're done adding active preamps to your basses to be more like me, make me a list.![]()
I loved Battlestar Galactica. So god damn good.
Cowboy Bebop! Do it! So good. So so so good.
But, passive basses only for me. Just sayin' is all.
