Might need a new fuzz

Post by sylnau »

I just notice that most of my fuzz pedals are slightly gated.

What should I look for... for a non gated fuzz pedal that sound like a blown up amp ?

Honestly, I built up an EF Black Acid spec Fuzz Face for DeltaPhoenix and you can build it for WELL under the DAM price tag...

I love the sound of a pushed F*ck OD. It opens up the crackling and makes my notes sustain longer. I've been running Devi SM / VFM Noise Floor >> F*ck lately and it rips and has all sorts of weird texture to it.

And Black Acid's have been popping up used on the DAM board pretty regularly the last few weeks.

I don't have the fuck but I like to do this with my mini
It can get pretty big sounding especially with the added bass control. Which I think adds more gain as well
