Bring the Moog stuff at the very least. Beyond that we've got a lotta pedal overlap goin on between us.

Someone sell me on these guitar. Why should I get one of these instead of a vintage Jaguar or Jazzmaster?

What about tuning stability with temperature change?

This.

Plus the fact you can get a custom spec guitar with insane build quality for around 2-3k. Gibson Custom Shop OR Historic, Fender Custom Shop, and vintage prices easily exceed that cost with extreme limitations in custom options to boot. Fuck that!

My Kramer DOES NOT go out of tune. My Obstructures did a little bit, but then again I never had a stand for it and the strings that went out of tune were resting against my pedal shelf. So...

I've heard good things about them. I don't think he has made near as many guitars as Kevin, but his craft and quality both seem very high. Is it an all aluminum or wood/aluminum hybrid? They're sexy, for sure.

all aluminium. Looks a lot like the EGC standard, in a travis bean vein. alu neck and white powder coat. it is a sexy one but more expensive than my car. and that seems wrong, at least for me. i would like to think about this before i contact the seller. I could probably scrape the money but, you know, it seems like a waste to get a guitar like that with skills like mine.

I kind of thought the same thing. My Obstructures cost more than my fiance's car as well. But the itch for me was always there in the back of my mind to just go for it. I sold 4 guitars and some pedals, and I'm still working on paying it off, but the Obstructures is definitely the last guitar I will ever need. It won't lose value and will sure as hell outlive me with minimal upkeep haha. After this pickup swap it'll be 100% awesome.

I know the Bastin you're talking about, I think I've seen a few pictures of it before. Seems really awesome and beautiful. Elegant even!

This def comes across as very solid logic but maybe that guitar will rule so fucking hard you'll be driven/inspired to play even more and next thing you know you're an aluminum guitar wielding German ROCK GOD!

Could happen....

This.

Im hoping when I get my EGC I will , ya know, go UP a few levels b/c I will be obsessed with it.
There are worse things to spend that kind of money on.
I will have to work my ass of to pay off mine.
Life's too short I say.
There would be an extra spring to my step, knowing I have a guitar like that waiting for me at home.

Wouldn't surprise me. Mick is a decent guitarist but a Great musician. The later is more important to me. Prolly get it :animal:

Bastin definitely makes a sexy looking guitar, description of a EGC Standard mixed with a Travis Bean is pretty much spot on. :thumb:

The one you're considering look anything like this Mick?
