I used to use a combination of mic'd and direct but just mic'ing gives a better representation of what the pedal sounds like if you're in the room with me.

I think if I was in the room with you I'd have been crushed to death by a tidal wave of 1000 pedals.

Nah, I only bring a few with me to the studio at a time

Damn. I've been busy. Missing a lot.

Lovely pics, behnz. Awesome demo, Ex. And Reverb..........I dunno.....I've never played around with it. Kinda thought it would be cool in the studio but would just get lost in the mix and make things sound like poo live. But that's all been in my head, I've never tried it live. Am I missing out or is reverb really just more for the guits? :idk:

The fun thing about Seismic Feedback is that I rarely have to worry about that "lost in the mix" thing. There are only two of us, and the bass is the lead instrument. The synths are usually playing backdrops or pads, and then there's a drum machine. So mix is very much what I say it is. It's not like playing in a rock band with 2 guitars and shit.

I used to think verb was unnecessary for bass, but it can really fill in the space when the guitar is doing certain stuff. Slow plucky bass lines benefit especially from it. That said, there's no verb on my bass board.

Back in the 90's I tried drinking 16 oz. of Tussin a couple times. That black glitch cloud in this pic? Exactly what I saw when I awoke from a Tussin stupor.

Yeah. Losers' had two guitar players. Straight up alt rock. Room to do a few runs, every now and we'd do slow stuff and I could lay down some broken chords while the two guits played melodic stuff. Jet Jag is a bit different in that it's one guit (sometimes the singer plays acoustic) but that one guit guy likes a throaty deep sound. I LOVE that throaty deep sound he gets but it keeps me from getting boomy. Much more room to play. But with his deep throatiness, I don't need anything to fill out the sound, by any means. Which is fine, I didn't need another pedal (not enough money OR space on the board). :)*

i LIKE you.

What basically happened is that I would fall asleep and then sporadically wake up, with an artifact from my dreams right there in the room with me like mufferfuzzin' Freddy Krueger. One time it was the black cloud, and another time it was my girlfriend (or at least the feeling of her lying on top of me). It would fade away after a few seconds and I'd fall back into Roboslumber.

Man, I'm glad I have a good source of weed these days, and not the desperation I used to feel back then. Life is goot!

You put the Particle back on your main thinger! Or just a placeholder till something else gets back?

I represent that! Like I would call you out on your silly inconsistencies.
