Clean Blend pedals

Post by bass_econo »

I'm of the opinion every pedal should have a clean blend.

Who makes them?
I am not a bass player.

i dont actually have any experience with a clean blend pedal but ive really been wanting to try one. the 2 that have my attention are the NOC3 Pure Drive and Red Witch Famulus; i dont know how "clean" the blend gets on the Red Witch, but you still have 2 different tones to blend. And then of course there's the TAFM which i still havent had the pleasure of trying.

Well I'm wanting a clean blend loop. A pedal that can put a fuzz in the loop and blend my clean sound with the fuzz.
I am not a bass player.

I know Loop Master does... I was going to link that up, but their site is all jacked right now. If Loop Master makes one, then T1M makes one.

Barge Concepts has a basic one, the VB-Jr, and an tricked out one with a feedback loop, the VFB-2.

Oh and there is the Xotic X-Blender.

fuck you read my mind... i've had ideas for this for a while now and finally just had a bit of a breakthrough the other night - some nice features to distinguish it from the others. :thumb: soon-ish! :snax:

the VB-Jr looks really nice and simple, though.

You have my interest as well. Build it and I will buy it. Make a big knob on it so I can turn it with my foot and I'll buy it faster!

There's also the EnveLoope pedal by Toadworks. It's basically a TBP effects loop and any pedal that you put in it is instantly given envelope-sensitive control.
You can set it so soft playing=clean and hard playing=effect, or vice versa, and you can control the sensitivity and such...looks pretty cool.

 I don't have the link, or I would post it...

And exp-in! And a boost circuit so that w/o effect and w/ effect can be set to the same level.

Just hijack this thread already!

Necromancing this thread a bit... I was looking around to see if anyone was selling an Enveloope. I used to have one but I rashly traded it back in for a microphone (had condenser fever) but not until getting some cool recordings with it. This track features the Enveloope on its reverse setting, where when you play softly the effect is on, and the harder you play the less effect you get. In the loop is my secret fuzz generator. The harder I play the more clean it gets, which is cool for articulation, and as a note sustains it gets nastier and nastier.
