How is it stomping on that enclosure? Doesn't the bug dude say it's like made of snake egg shells and will explode if you don't use an external switch?

yeah, i remember that caveat. i think that must have been about an earlier box though? i go the bare enclosure Bug i have at home now off of Danno in a trade, but the etched one headed my way looks the same build wise. and i've gigged with mine about 5 shows and used it least once a day at practice for about 6 months? haven't noticed any wonkiness compared to normal enclosure boxes yet.

yah. to me the Franta does WAY more, but is kinda polite about most of it, but the Bug does exactly the sound i end up using bit crushers for, sample rate reduction, in a beautiful and really angry way. for me it's an easy choice. Franta = fun toy, Bug = something i'll use musically.

I got the fucking man cave straightened up! My pedals are on the freakin board, My keyboard is on its stand, there is room to sit on my couch, The desk is functional again so I can get on recording some electronic swag soon. Feels good and my lady won't shake her head everytime she catches a glimpse inside the man cave.

That's always a good feeling man! My dream is always to have a setup in my house where I walk in, plug in one lead, flick a switch and play. Since my little girl arrived on the scene I usually walk in, look for leads that have moved, move down and take the lid off my board, connect power, restore amp settings, retune my bass...play 6 notes.... hear a crashing sound at the other end of the house and a kid say "oh oh"......put bass down.....hope to return for more than packing up

My man cave needs to be in a bunker...with my daughter playing in a padded room while I'm there....

Well, I bought a new PT-3 and now I just bought 10 more feet of Mogami cable and a couple dozen pancake jacks.

You've probably answered or posted on this 100 times but I can't remember... Do you solder those cables to the jacks? I'm a huge fan of pancake jacks but am not great at soldering. I have the HOSA ones but if it's cheaper and better...
