I play a baritone into an orange stack and into an SVT stack. (recently switched the 810 for a berg NV412, but my presence in the lowss has only increased.)
fight fire with fire!
just get a pair of 18", or two 810's.
this thread is an appreciation for low frequencies. lets not fuss over who's giving it!

That sounds massive! I still dial in those bass toanz for the doom. The muffy bass frequencies punish the listener from both the guitar and bass amp; there is no other way. Forgot dialing down the bass...20 hz or lezz 4 lyfe!! ;)
Fuzz, reverb, delay.

I love clonky middy bass - Billy Gould's bass sound is the best I've ever heard. And in fact, I really like the relationship his bass tone has with the guitar tone as well - they do the separation thing well. As tempting as it is to bring earth shattering bass with my guitar I don't like doing it because it just shits out the mix. Bassist brings the bass. (and clonky awesome mids!)

I like when lows are really deep and full and juicy, I hate that boomy gross wooly sound. Bass is pretty tricky for me because it can get really overwhelming quick. I've been to a lot of shows where the sound guy just puts out a ton of lows and I can't hear any vocals or melodies or anything, just a bunch of rumble. sounds bad :(
