Dudes, I'm already headed back to work, ugh, but I was up late as fuck with the Echorec and it kills and now I'm dragging ass! Easy as pie to dial in tho I wish the Program Selector knob was notched cuz it's kinda hard to tell sometimes with 12 positions there. Maybe some tiny LEDS to indicate which heads were active would be nice. Regardless, all settings sound cool and very different from one another and the mod sounds fantastic.

Haven't even bothered adjusting internal gain or mod yet, default was nice.

Oh, and the trails/buffer mode sounds tops to my ears.

More detailed review later, off to work, again....

Totally agree on the notches. Those numbers are SMALL! I'm thinking... Man am I getting that old!?

No, haha, those numbers are just that small! You can hear that slight skip once you've switched modes but actually feeling the knob click would be reassuring.

The pedal itself is actually much smaller than I was expecting (which is great of course) but still surprised me. My first Cbread ever honestly, didn't realize they were so miniscule.

They really are! I've had a few, and have mixed opinions on the ones I've tried. The DLS is really cool (could get some really fat marshally tones), the Formula #5 was pretty cool (kinda a one trick pony), HATED the WIIO v1 (really BRASH with my rig at the time), slightly enjoyed the SCOD (again a one trick pony, and didn't do the Stoner rock tones like I was expecting), didn't get the Varioboost (really noisy, so I think it may have been broken), really dig the Montavillian, and LOVE the Echorec.

Here's them stacked.

Found the secret fuzz mode!   :erm: I have a terrible recording setup, so these crappy quality demos will have to do... Also scratchy volume pot.

And here's modes 1-9:

phone ran out of space, so I couldn't get full 12.

Secret fuzz you say?!?! At the tail end of the gain range or what? Must crank gain after work.

There will be no kickstarter. Ken will rock it alone.

Effectrode is also doing some sort of Echorec thing. I imagine it will be like $500.

I think the Infanem Disk Echo is up next after the SV and SV Deluxe. Sadly, those SV demos were planned after a functional prototype was ready and that was supposed to be like two weeks ago...

Man I'm excited about it too but thinking it's gonna take an enormous amount of pennies to acquire. :(

My buddy got an Echorec recently, looks like they offer it in both Gold and Hammered Copper. That's a pic he took of ours sitting side by side. I'm still pretty smitten with this pedal, sounds really incredible. Needs more features, mainly exp control and stereo but I'm VERY happy with how it sounds.

That said, the repeats on mine have been cutting out or coming through at a ridiculously low output at random. I've read a few other posts here and there complaining of similar issues. I think the circuit is probably fine but Cbread may be rushing production to meet demand a bit. Just a guess....

No bleed through or hiss on mine like some have noticed tho....
