I'm not real crazy about the deep lower cut, but I could get used to it.

I have that one, but with a lipstick. That's about what I paid too, I can't believe they're going for 400 now.

How's the intonation? I know mine has, uh, "generous" fret markers.

Also, I don't know about you, but I love the neck.

Some of the dots are good, some not so much. It is cool, good for ear training

I really like the neck. I was thinking about doing a little sanding but the slight irregularities might be handy references...

Corksniffers & T-40's; there is a small possibility that I could be getting some unexpected funds by this weekend, and this T-40 w/OHSC is available. Down side is whether it's really worth the price, but it's up in Petaluma and if I could get him to A) take an even $500 cash and B) would meet me in Gilroy (roughly a 2 1/2 hr drive from here, one way) or somewhere similar, he and I could bypass shipping entirely. From what I've been able to find out, what he says about the construction and color appear to be valid, which is why I'd consider the price to be approaching fair...I think. I can say that I've not seen one in that color before.

Opinions?

Almost neck thru? What is that bullshit it's still bolted on there and that's got fuck all to do with how many pieces the body is made of.

Color is nice and the hardware all looks clean though. The nut looks like it might not be original. I guess if you really want a T-40 in that color go for it. Maybe check out the frets and see how worn they are, I know the frets on mine aren't in the greatest shape. Only paid $200 shipped for mine not too long ago, but it's in a lot worse shape.

still.. it does help to intonate a fretless... and doing new dots are not hard at all.

How much do you care about it being red? The natural ones pop up regularly, red ones not so much. To me, if you have the money available, want the thing and think it's a fair price, you go for it.
