So I think I'm going to go with the EAR AD4096 as my delay of the future. Thought about going back with the Timeline....but I just won't use all of that and this EAR guy is calling to me. Wish there were more used ones around, though.

Damn it all to hell! I'm to that point again. I was about to start making my board huge and I got to thinking about how damn dumb that is. It works for some but it just does not work for me. I'm good with like 12 pedals max and that's pushing it. Fuck. I don't know why I feel like I need to have everything. LOL! OCD.

Anyway, I'm narrowing down my pedal choices. I'm thinking of doing a Mod Factor for envelope stuff since Delta is selling one. If I don't jive with it, it will be easy to flip. So I want my board to look like this (signal) Compressor, Okko Basstard, Dual Elements, Megalith, Modfactor, Timeline, B7K. That's it. Maybe a looper. I think that's more than enough. Especially with the options that these pedals offer.

So that leaves out the TAFM (Mega would take it's place), Depth Charge, White Fritter, Robot Devil, Great Destroyer, Reptile fuzz, Tweaktronics Dynamic Filter and Walkure.

I might keep the TAFM on there for muffish tones and other gated sexiness. But the rest probably are either going to A)get sold or B) sit off my board. Too much shit going on in the signal for me. It's just easier to have less.


Also, I'm thinking about either upgrading my Dingwall so that I can passive and active options or getting a different Dingwall. I LOVE the way this one plays, so kind of on the fence about switching it for a different one. But at the same time, I'm not real sure how to go about making it passive/active. Any thoughts?

The only reason I want passive is that sometimes the active pickups are a little too punchy. That's the other reason I'm going to add a compressor.

I hear ya. My philosophy is to always sell what I'm not using. Between here, TB, and TGP....plus Prymaxe, it's super easy to get a pedal back for what I sold it for if I ever want it again....sometimes I get them back for even less.

Anyways, once the laptop and stuff sell.....I'm looking at a SuperEgo, Tremolessence, Faye Sing, Cioks to power them all, some form of dual expression pedal, and then debating between the Lunar Echo and the EAR AD4096 (possible other delay may catch my eye before then, too). I already have a Swell B-Peg, Megalith, and a bitchin' Swiss Army Knife of a parallel looper. That will have my board back in working shape before Christmas and without having lost money.

I'm still saying your Four Eyes is broken. It was one of the lamest pedals when I tried your's but when the FC tourbox hit me that thing was legit. Like whatever wire does some fuzz or something is loose. Look how technical I am. But yeah. When I read through your tourbox thread on TB, I fume at how those people are just.....gawd....so not cool....taking forever with each pedal....like....I dunno. Makes me want to rage. I can't imagine them being my pedals.

Kinda surprised to see the Second Voice possibly being offered up...and the TAFM is one of the prettiest ones I've seen.

And in other randomness - I'm on Bass Emporium's mailing list and their latest newsletter includes this '59 P-bass...this is in amazing shape for its age, imo.
