I'm wanting either a EHX Electric Mistress or a Poly Chorus, the PC is more expensive and harder to track down and I don't want the newer one. But I've just wanted one for years.
I could get a MM4 or even a Boss HF-2 (but they aren't really cheap here).
Halp?

lol
I actualy bended my mind with the advice for Shannon. Going univalve style would have been "get big one, keep small one, slap both on your board"

Yeah, Holy Schnikes has the power to create GAS and to destroy it.

Schnikes definitely has my favourite rig I've seen on the interwebz.
I'm having mega GAS for a MotorAve guitar, but I doubt I'll ever be able to afford one.

I'm sorry but I cannot give you a single reason NOT to go for those angled Mustang looking guitars. DAYUM. How much are they? Must cost quite a lot

Lol, this is pure truth! univalve don't sell shit, just keeps adding to his badass arsenal. Smart man!
I would love to take that path myself but I've got an EGC and Dunwich Hifi amp to finance so my buying habits need to adjust accordingly. Thus the trip to the "anti-GAS" thread which isn't much different than the "GAS" thread sadly....

All comes down to some advice Chankgeez already spit out in here, sums it up nicely:
Chankgeez wrote:like I said before, if you talk about gear, you will want gear. Talking about not wanting gear never works.

Schnikes, as far as I can tell, just gets the nicest stuff, and so he has more restraint from buying crappy stuff than some of us (like me)

Yeah, I just bought a Walrus Audio Iron Horse and apparently the guys behind those pedals are hipsters with no intelligence or creativity. That's called not doing your research and having money to spare. Still, I hope it sounds as good as the demos. It'll be easily flippable if not.

That one is around $3300. The Les Paul-ish one and the Gretsch-ish one are both four and a half grand. Josh Homme uses the big-ass one.
