also troof. I think they've been moving farther and farther away from doom into what you're describing. They always have certain tracks with 'riffs' but others are really about a different means of pushing sound

Harvey Milk is potentially one of the best bands I have ever heard. The dynamics and emotions they're able to convey astound me.

I like doom that pushes limits and isn't affraid to explore time, space, etc. Khanate, Monarch! are both great examples.

I also dig OCEAN. Their tracks are like a huge journey with such interesting movements

I agree...i want to punch the typical conspiracy theory nerd repeatedly. no, the fucking WTC wasn't destroyed in a controlled demolition, and they don't have a refrigerated alien at Wright-Patterson AFB. in this country, there's no way a secret could possibly stay hidden that long.
