how does one nurse a broken heartache from GAS. it's like being dumped once again. without the tears.

That price tag sounds cool...but you should get the original case with it.My friend just bought a '78. mustang with a maple neck,original case and in a very good condition-almost mint.He gave 500 euros for it,but I guess it was a lucky find.It's a cool guitar,but I personally don't like that mini body,haha...it's so small.

I don't know anything else that might be helpful...just determine the exact year of production and search the web for the similar ones,and compare them. :idk:

You should have a look at the base of the neck, and see when was it built.

Also check the pots. I suggest looking at http://fendermustangstory.com/default.htm for more in depth checking.

$650 sounds like a pretty good deal to me for one of those, especially if it's in good working order (and sounds like you want it to).
