Alright, add another rung to my ridiculous questions ladder. I'm learning as I go so I appreciate all of the help I get on this site. So, I decided to pull the middle strat pickup in my Nashville Tele to just run the bridge and neck pickups (along with the Fishman piezo's). I have the new pickguard as well as the 3-way switch (like below). I have found wiring diagrams for the 3-way switch but have found a few different diagrams and just want to be sure I'm doing this right before I start. Does anyone have a pic of their tele 3-way switch wired up?

Based on the diagrams I'm finding here is my interpretation... Is it right?

This diagram is pretty straight forward. Your wires may be different colors depending on the brand.
In this diagram:
Black = Ground
White = Hot

Re: Telecaster 3-way switch wiring Help
So my bottom sketch would be the correct one? I left the wires that were connected from the pickups to the pots and only desoldered the wires from the previous switch. So I only have to re-solder those 2 wires along with the jumper wires... yes?
(edit) again, sorry for the stupid questions... I've never done this before and want to make sure I do it right.

Re: Telecaster 3-way switch wiring Help
Yeah, that should be right.
Once you get it wired up but before you get it all put back together plug it in
and tap the magnets with something metal as you run through the switch positions.
With the switch forward the neck PU should make a noise when tapped and the bridge
shouldn't. In the middle position both should make noise and in the back position only
the bridge should make noise.
If you have a continuity tester you can check to make sure all the grounds are good too.
If everything seems right put it all back together and string it up!

Re: Telecaster 3-way switch wiring Help
Thanks... did a quick soldering job and everything is working great. Got the middle 'strat" pickup out of there and I love it. Thanks so much for the help.
